Florists in the United States range from neighborhood flower shops with a walk-in cooler to studio designers who work only by appointment for weddings and events. Most retail florists build arrangements to order, deliver the same day when you call before early afternoon, and belong to a wire network (FTD, Teleflora or BloomNet) that passes out-of-town orders to a local shop. Ordering from the shop directly rather than through a national website usually means more flowers for the money, because no order-gatherer takes a cut. Flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, often early in the morning, and many now open to the public. Flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies and sunflowers and sell by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own.

When I went here this morning someone took my food and nobody knew so I waited a pretty long time to get my order. I'm not gonna lie, I was mad. But let me tell you when I bit into that biscuit it changed my brain chemistry it was so good! Please come and support this business they've got great coffee and delicious food, no matter if you have to wait!

Came here for brunch on my way back to Bham after a concert. The place was really cute decorated with flower bouquets, as you might imagine. It was super clean and had lots of natural light from the large windows out front. I got a bacon quiche with their spring mix salad and an oatmeal cookie latte (?). The food was pretty tasty and the latte was delicious. I'm not usually a big milk drinker in my coffee, let alone oat milk, but it was really well made. There was a lot of outdoor seating to choose from, which I love, because AL doesn't ever have any outdoor tables. The lady who took my order was sweet but it was sort of unclear if they brought the food out to you or you waited and picked it up. They really need a buzzer system or need to give the customers numbers and deliver it because I stood, waiting, for at least 20 mins for my meal whereas I could've been seated outdoors waiting. In any event, the meal was good and reasonably priced. Glad I got a chance to drop by.

My sister friend, Karla, bought me a flower arrangement from The Flower Kitchen. I have never received a more delicious luscious arrangement in my 75yrs. Karla delivered it yesterday and today it is even more alive as the snapdragons are opening. It looks so natural that I thought perhaps Karla has taken on a new hobby as she's extremely creative; however, she said it is from here and she went on to describe the delicious fresh treats and the card is 1/4 created. I can't wait to go myself. WOW!

Such an amazing cup of coffee and great service. We were only in town for a few day, and had the pleasure of being served by Claire and staff. The flowers were fresh and fragrant.

Every time I come here I feel like Iβve died and gone to heaven. This little coffee shop is one of the biggest joys in my life and let me tell you why. Every part of the experience, you can tell is executed with so much quality & intention & most importantly, love. My favorite things to get? How can I just choose one. The oatmeal cookie latte, I dream about it. Their gluten free options? Mouth watering. Iβm sorry, what other coffee shops do you know with a GLUTEN FREE biscuit that is so phenomenal youβll want to eat 12. The cherry on top? The staff. From the flower bar, to the baristas, to their kitchen, everyone is so kind & patient. Between the people, the coffee, the food, The Flower Kitchen has all the things we all need more of in our lives.
